Bleachtone™ is a unique product that is used to create the popular pickle-frost look. Bleachtone™ allows end users to achieve a transparent layer of color on maple that does not block out the grain. Bleachtone™ is white in color but can be tinted with colorants to create custom colors. Bleachtone™ can be sprayed directly onto the wood or added (no more than 40%) to E-Z Vinyl® Sealer for improved color control. Bleachtone™ should be sprayed at approximately 30 p.s.i. and applied in multiple coats, similar to an Ultra® Penetrating Stain, to achieve the desired color. Glaze can be applied over Bleachtone™ to create a variety of popular looks.
